A roadmap for your nationality

Turkish citizenship for Lebanese investors, just across the Mediterranean

Lebanon and Türkiye share the same sea, the same love of good food and a long history of trade between their ports. Winvest Passport helps Lebanese investors and their families obtain Turkish citizenship through a USD 400,000 property purchase or a USD 500,000 investment in funds, a bank deposit or government bonds, held for 3 years.

Why Türkiye for Lebanese investors

The Mediterranean you love

Mersin, Antalya and the Aegean coast offer the olive groves, citrus orchards, mild winters and seaside evenings that Lebanese families know from home. A home on Türkiye's coast feels familiar from the very first coffee on the balcony.

A hub for Lebanese enterprise

Lebanese entrepreneurs are known across the region for trade, hospitality, design and fashion. Istanbul connects Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, giving a Lebanese business a large home market and easy reach to neighbouring regions.

Schools in the languages you speak

Many Lebanese families raise children in Arabic, French and English. Istanbul is home to international schools and to long-established French-language lycées, so your children can keep their languages while adding Turkish along the way.

Your family, one application

Your spouse and children under 18 can apply alongside you. Türkiye does not require residence, Turkish language skills or giving up your current nationality, so you decide how much time you spend in each country.

Two investment routes to Turkish citizenship

Real estate: USD 400,000

Buy property worth at least USD 400,000 and keep it for 3 years. You can use it as a home for your family or rent it out.

Fund, deposit or bonds: USD 500,000

Invest USD 500,000 in eligible real estate or venture capital funds, a deposit at a bank in Türkiye or government bonds, and keep the investment for 3 years.

Not sure which route fits you? Start your personal roadmap with the form on this page; our investor relations team will go through both routes with you.

The process for Lebanese applicants

  1. A first call in your language: goals, route (property or fund), budget and family composition.

  2. Document preparation at home: legalisation and translation.

  3. Bank account in Türkiye and traceable transfer of the investment amount.

  4. Investment execution: property purchase with valuation and title deed, or fund unit purchase with MKK blockage.

  5. Conformity certificate, investor residence permit and the citizenship application.

  6. Decision and passport issuance; family members included in the same file.

Practical notes for Lebanese applicants

Lebanon uses consular legalisation for official documents: the issuing authority, the Lebanon ministry of foreign affairs and then the Turkish consulate. Our investor relations team coordinates these steps with you.

The investment is sent from Lebanon by traceable bank transfer to your account in Türkiye. Keep the bank records and the exchange certificate, because they are part of the application file.

Lebanon allows its citizens to hold another citizenship alongside their own.

Documents typically requested

  • Valid passport for each applicant
  • Birth certificates and, for spouses, the marriage certificate
  • Police clearance certificate for the main applicant and spouse
  • Biometric photographs
  • Proof of the investment (title deed and valuation, or fund conformity certificate)
  • Bank records showing the foreign exchange transfer and the exchange certificate
  • Health insurance for the residence permit stage

Frequently asked

How far is Istanbul from Beirut?

Very close. Direct flights connect Beirut with Istanbul, and the journey takes only a few hours. Many Lebanese families fly over for a long weekend, a medical check-up or a shopping trip.

Can I keep running my business from Lebanon?

Yes. Turkish citizenship does not require you to move. You can manage your work in Lebanon, spend time in Türkiye when it suits you and, if you wish, open a company in Istanbul as well.

Can I sell my investment later?

Yes. After the 3-year holding period, you may sell the property or, on the fund, deposit or bond route, exit under the terms of your chosen product. Our team explains these terms before you invest.

How are documents from Lebanon legalised for a Turkish application?

By consular legalisation: documents from Lebanon are legalised through the consulate.
