A roadmap for your nationality
Turkish citizenship for Jordanian families: close to Amman, open to green hills
The Hejaz Railway once linked Amman to Istanbul by way of Damascus. Today you can rebuild that closeness for your family through Turkish citizenship. The choice is yours: acquire a home for USD 400,000, or direct USD 500,000 into an eligible Turkish fund, a bank deposit or government bonds. Our investor relations team stays beside you from the first conversation to the final signature.

Why Türkiye for Jordanian investors
A few hours from Amman
Direct flights connect Amman and Istanbul, and the journey takes just a few hours. That closeness lets you spend holidays in both countries, visit your parents often and use your home in Türkiye whenever you like.
Green highlands, blue coasts
The green highlands of the Black Sea, the forested mountains around Bursa and the long Mediterranean beaches offer a fresh change after Jordan's dry summers. Many Jordanian families love spending the summer months in cool air, close to nature and the sea.
A familiar way of life
Hospitality, large family meals, Friday prayers and Eid visits are part of everyday life in Türkiye too. As a Jordanian family you will not feel like outsiders in your new neighbourhood, and friendships with neighbours come naturally and quickly.
A strong base for business
Istanbul is a trading hub that opens onto Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia at once. If you work in trade, healthcare or services in Jordan, Turkish citizenship makes it much easier to set up a company here and manage your regional business.
Two investment routes to Turkish citizenship
Real estate: USD 400,000
Buy property worth at least USD 400,000 and keep it for 3 years. You can use it as a home for your family or rent it out.
Fund, deposit or bonds: USD 500,000
Invest USD 500,000 in eligible real estate or venture capital funds, a deposit at a bank in Türkiye or government bonds, and keep the investment for 3 years.
The process for Jordanian applicants
A first call in your language: goals, route (property or fund), budget and family composition.
Document preparation at home: legalisation and translation.
Bank account in Türkiye and traceable transfer of the investment amount.
Investment execution: property purchase with valuation and title deed, or fund unit purchase with MKK blockage.
Conformity certificate, investor residence permit and the citizenship application.
Decision and passport issuance; family members included in the same file.
Practical notes for Jordanian applicants
Jordan uses consular legalisation for official documents: the issuing authority, the Jordan ministry of foreign affairs and then the Turkish consulate. Our investor relations team coordinates these steps with you.
The investment is sent from Jordan by traceable bank transfer to your account in Türkiye. Keep the bank records and the exchange certificate, because they are part of the application file.
Jordan allows its citizens to hold another citizenship alongside their own.
Documents typically requested
- Valid passport for each applicant
- Birth certificates and, for spouses, the marriage certificate
- Police clearance certificate for the main applicant and spouse
- Biometric photographs
- Proof of the investment (title deed and valuation, or fund conformity certificate)
- Bank records showing the foreign exchange transfer and the exchange certificate
- Health insurance for the residence permit stage
Frequently asked
Do I have to give up my Jordanian citizenship?
Türkiye does not ask you to give up your current citizenship in order to become Turkish. There is no such condition on the Turkish side, so you can keep your ties and live between both countries as you choose.
Can I spend my summers in Türkiye?
Of course. As a Turkish citizen you can stay in Türkiye for as long as you wish. Summers in the Black Sea highlands or on the Mediterranean coast, and the rest of the year in Amman, is an easy rhythm to arrange.
Is one investment enough for my family?
Yes. One investment is all it takes: your partner and your sons and daughters who are not yet 18 are listed on your file. We gather everyone's papers in one place and move the whole household through the process side by side.
How are documents from Jordan legalised for a Turkish application?
By consular legalisation: documents from Jordan are legalised through the consulate.
