A roadmap for your nationality
Turkish citizenship for Afghan families, built on a century of friendship
Afghanistan and Türkiye share more than a hundred years of friendship, a common faith and many of the same dishes and customs. Winvest Passport helps Afghan investors and their families obtain Turkish citizenship through a USD 400,000 property purchase or a USD 500,000 investment in funds, a bank deposit or government bonds, held for 3 years.

Why Türkiye for Afghan investors
A friendship since 1921
Türkiye and Afghanistan signed a treaty of friendship in 1921, one of the earliest either country made. Since then, generations of students, teachers and traders have moved between the two, and Afghan families are greeted here as old friends.
Familiar tables and customs
Pilaf, mantı and fresh bread, a glass of tea for every guest and deep respect for elders: Afghan families recognise much of daily life in Türkiye. Mosques in every neighbourhood make it easy to keep family traditions.
A place in Istanbul's trade
Afghan entrepreneurs are active in Istanbul's carpet, textile and wholesale markets. Citizenship makes it simpler to open a company and a bank account, and Istanbul's airport connects your business to Europe, Asia and Africa.
A second home for your family
Your spouse and children under 18 can join your application. Türkiye does not require you to live in the country or to learn Turkish, and your children can attend Turkish schools and universities as citizens.
Two investment routes to Turkish citizenship
Real estate: USD 400,000
Buy property worth at least USD 400,000 and keep it for 3 years. You can use it as a home for your family or rent it out.
Fund, deposit or bonds: USD 500,000
Invest USD 500,000 in eligible real estate or venture capital funds, a deposit at a bank in Türkiye or government bonds, and keep the investment for 3 years.
The process for Afghan applicants
A first call in your language: goals, route (property or fund), budget and family composition.
Document preparation at home: legalisation and translation.
Bank account in Türkiye and traceable transfer of the investment amount.
Investment execution: property purchase with valuation and title deed, or fund unit purchase with MKK blockage.
Conformity certificate, investor residence permit and the citizenship application.
Decision and passport issuance; family members included in the same file.
Practical notes for Afghan applicants
Afghanistan uses consular legalisation for official documents: the issuing authority, the Afghanistan ministry of foreign affairs and then the Turkish consulate. Our investor relations team coordinates these steps with you.
The investment is sent from Afghanistan by traceable bank transfer to your account in Türkiye. Keep the bank records and the exchange certificate, because they are part of the application file.
Afghanistan has its own rules on holding another citizenship. Our investor relations team goes through them with you before you apply, so your plan fits both countries.
Documents typically requested

Frequently asked
Can I choose the fund route instead of property?
Yes. Instead of buying property, you can invest USD 500,000 in eligible funds, a Turkish bank deposit or government bonds and hold it for 3 years. Our investor relations team explains each option clearly.
Where in Türkiye can my family live?
Anywhere you like. Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa and Konya are popular with Afghan families, and as citizens you are free to settle, travel and move within Türkiye as you wish.
How does the application start?
It starts with a short conversation. Our investor relations team listens to your goals, recommends a route and prepares a document checklist for you and your family, so each step is clear from the start.
How are documents from Afghanistan legalised for a Turkish application?
By consular legalisation: documents from Afghanistan are legalised through the consulate.
